Several years of work on gaining a new and very promising market, which are renewable energy sources (RES), and more specifically – the wind energy, was crowned with success in the form of an order for 6 service cranes for C-Power company.

The cranes will work on the Thorntonbank – Phase 1 wind farm and replace the equipment used so far, which has not passed the test in these extremely difficult weather conditions.

The cranes that will be delivered by us will be made according to a project being developed for a long time, functioning as PROTEA internal order with the number ZW1145. It is an innovative device, the design of which was co-financed by the National Centre for Research and Development and which was reported to the Patent Office in Q3 2018.

Further work shall be focused on developing technical solutions, ensuring the quality of the device taking into account the extremely difficult working and servicing conditions as well as reduction of the davits manufacturing cost.
