A while ago, our crane departed for a sea platform at BCT in the Port of Gdynia. Three parts of the crane were loaded onto the Wilson Brugge ship at the BCT terminal in the Port of Gdynia and set sail towards Spain. The crane will then be transported to its final worksite off the coast of Germany.
The crane was ordered by Dragados and will be installed on the HVAC platform BorWin5, located off the coast of Germany, as part of the 2GW project aimed at converting electrical energy produced by wind farms and integrating it into the onshore power grid. The project is being carried out by Tennet.
