Another milestone for Protea – two Knuckle Boom cranes for the Baltic Power project
We are proud to announce the completion of another important stage in the work of our team!
Two Knuckle Boom cranes (SWL 6t, R=28m), manufactured by Protea for our client CS Wind, have successfully passed all required tests conducted in the presence of representatives from the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT). The cranes have obtained full certification and are now fully prepared for operation in demanding offshore conditions.
The cranes were built for the needs of Baltic Power – the first Polish offshore project to be developed in the Baltic Sea. This investment has strategic importance for the development of renewable energy sources in Poland, and we are extremely proud that our solutions will support this groundbreaking project.
Our Knuckle Boom cranes have been designed and built with reliability, safety, and durability in mind, ensuring resistance to harsh marine environments. They will play a key role in efficient service and cargo handling operations in the offshore sector.
We are convinced that Protea’s participation in the Baltic Power project is not only proof of our technological expertise but also a tangible contribution to the development of modern offshore energy in Poland.
