Container handling systems are complex lifting equipment tailored for passenger ships, intended to handle 10’ containers through side doors on both sides of the ship.
The system consists of a travel frame, trolley and spreader, which is being lifted by winch trolley. Additionally the trolley is moving along the travel frame, which may be extended or retracted from the ship.
Spreader is equipped with guiding mechanism and locking system to safely transport containers on to the ship.
The system is electro-hydraulic with radio control and DNVGL certification.
