Monorail Hoist
We are pleased to inform that Protea is in the process of designing and fabrication of a Monorail Hoist with the capacity up to 1T.
The Monorail Hoist is designated for transport of equipment from the vessel to the wind farm substation and consequently is adopted for the offshore lifting.
The total lifting height is of 25m.
Due to its offshore application, the Monorail Hoist meets very restrictive requirements related to the corrosion protection.
Moreover, the system has been additionally equipped with the following functions: AOPS, MOPS & slack wire rope indicator.
The Monorail Hoist is designed in accordance with the DNV standard: DNVGL-ST-0378. Thus, it will be finally approved by third party Det Norske Veritas.
Overhead Traveling Cranes
The Overhead Traveling Cranes are designated for transport of equipment and goods within the area of GIS, converter, transformer or reactor room.
The following options are available:
- Electrical or manual
- Single girder type
- Overhead or suspended
- Low head room option
The cranes are designed in accordance with the DNV standard: DNVGL-ST-0377.
Their modular structure and compact design enables easy transport and assembly.
