The 30 mT CTU (Coiled Tubing Unit) Handling Trolley & Air Winch was designed and fabricated by PROTEA for transportation of CTU, Turret Swivel Stacks and other heavy units at Aseng FPSO.
The CTU Handling Trolley & Air Winch consist of:
• Trolley
• Air Winch
• Guide Sheave unit and End Sheave unit
• Curved and Inclined Runway system including rails, end stops, parking bolts and rope guides
• Control Panel
The Trolley is driven by Rope System pulling it forth and back on the Runway. The Rope System enables safe and fully controlled movement of the Trolley on Curved and Inclined Runway at the FPSO’s deck for all specified operating conditions.
The Air Winch is an offshore type, explosion protected, single drum, pneumatically driven. The Air Winch is designed for deck mounting and is located on a support frame.
