Protea manufactures various types of pedestal cranes suitable for installation on a wide range of offshore vessels including Multi-purpose vessels (MVP).
For general cargo handling and service operations on offshore rigs Protea developed Telescopic Pedestal Cranes, versatile equipment dedicated for harsh environment conditions. The cranes are ideal for MPV, but can also be used on offshore vessels and wind farm installations.
The Telescopic Crane has been designed on the basis of the Lifting Appliance standard, issued by the Polish Register of Shipping classification society but may be easily adjusted to DNV GL or ABS standards.
Among non-standard functions of the Telescopic Crane, there are also personnel lift and constant tension functions.
