The scissor lifts are usually designed for use on offshore drilling rigs and can safely lift 2 personnel and their equipment to a height of 13m. With an integral hydraulic system to operate the lift and drive system, these versatile tools have total lift capacity of 300kg and fully comply with all appropriate offshore design codes and regulations.
Protea also delivers a range of rig elevators – available with lift capacities up to 200kg, these proven elevators allow the safe transport of workers from ground level up to the rig floor.
For cargo only applications, Protea can deliver a range of vertical transport platforms with lift capacity of up to 500kg to transport cargo between decks on drilling rigs and FSO vessels.
