PROTEA is proud to announce the award of a significant contract by PTSC Mechanical & Construction Co., Ltd for the supply of four pedestal cranes. These cranes will play a crucial role in the Offshore wind substation project, Baltica 2, contributing to the ambitious goal of expanding renewable energy infrastructure in the region.

Baltica 2, part of the larger Baltic 2 + Baltica 3 project, is a pioneering offshore wind farm located in the Baltic Sea. The project is poised to significantly bolster Poland’s renewable energy capacity, aligning with the European Union’s objectives for a sustainable energy future. The offshore wind farm, when fully operational, will generate clean, renewable energy for hundreds of thousands of households, reducing carbon emissions and fostering energy independence.

The cranes provided by PROTEA will be instrumental in the efficient operation of the Baltica 2 substation. With a robust working load of 5 tons at 22-meter radius, these cranes are designed to handle the demanding tasks of transporting loads from ship to platform and facilitating operations around the platform. Their advanced design ensures reliability and safety in the challenging offshore environment.
