PROTEA Sp. z o.o. celebrates its 20th anniversary on May 8, while the younger German company celebrates its 15th anniversary on May 2.
During these years, both companies have come a long way, gaining experience in the industry, acquiring regular customers, strengthening their position in the market.
PROTEA Sp. z o.o. started as a small design office, created thanks to passion, will of acting and faith in the success of its President, Mr. Tomasz Paszkiewicz.
Currently, PROTEA is a brand recognized all over the world. Cranes, gantry cranes, winches and other devices with the PROTEA® badge can be seen in every, even the most exotic place – in Canada, the Congo, Venezuela, Brazil, Yamal in Russia.
Protea also has two patented lifting devices, as well as several projects financed by the European Union and the National Centre for Research and Development.
Bearing in mind the need to constantly improve the quality of delivered devices, in 2020, a Research and Development Section was established as part of the Engineering Department, with a main task is to develop modern engineering solutions for devices manufactured by PROTEA Group.

AXXIA was founded as a small local company.
Today both companies work together and therefore are able to supply devices to the international market.
The undoubted success of both companies celebrating the jubilee is the continuation of operations despite two major crises on the market – the first one in 2015 in the Oil & Gas industry, the second one currently ongoing, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The strength of both companies is also evidenced by the low variability in the composition of the workforce. It is especially valuable as both companies are characterized by a discrete manufacturing, where the competence, professionalism and commitment of employees are the key success factors.

PROTEA Group’s involvement in activities for the benefit of local communities, supporting charity activities, cooperation with local technical and vocational schools aa well as the universities, where potential employees are educated, and care for the natural environment as part of the consciously implemented Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy is also characteristic.
Therefore, it can be concluded that PROTEA Sp. z o.o. during the 20 years of its existence, and AXXIA GmbH during the 15 years of its operation, have created stable, following changing market conditions, responding to the needs of customers from all over the world, but at the same time permanently connected with the local community, companies that have a chance of further success through the years of its operation.
