API 2C 8th – Licence No: 2C-0103
Protea completed American Petroleum Institute (API) certification for manufacturing and supply of offshore pedestal cranes according to “API Specification 2C”.
The certificate allows Protea to extend production capability and venture into new oil and gas markets.
DNV GL
Protea’s welding workshop has been approved with DNV GL Certificate. It marks out Protea as a competent manufacturer of high quality cranes, winches and other mechanical handling systems. Manufacturers approved by this certificate are accepted to deliver according to DNV GL, DNV and GL rules.

The main goal of PROTEA’s operations regarding environmental protection is conducting business within technical machinery production in environmental friendly manner.
In regards to the character of Protea’s business, manufacturing of specialized equipment and providing other services, the company intends to care for natural environment.

The main goal of Protea’s operations regarding HSE is conducting business within technical machinery production in a way to prevent danger to human health and life.
In regards to the character of Protea’s business and the risks it involves, the company focuses on providing safe and healthy working environment for all employees in whole organizational structure and in all operating areas within the company.
PN-EN 1090
Protea Sp. z o.o. has a certificate confirming the implementation of the Factory Production Control System in accordance with the requirements of EN 1090-2 + A1: 2012.
The scope of the certificate includes elements of load-bearing structures and their sets made of steel up to EXC4 class according to the PN-EN 1090-2 + A1: 2012 standard.
Thanks to the implementation of the EN 1090 standard, the company expanded its offer and market reach by the possibility of introducing elements of building structures to the European Union markets.
EN ISO 3834
Protea Sp. z o.o. has implemented and certified a welding process monitoring system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 3834-2.
Thanks to the implementation of the EN ISO 3834-2 standard, Protea has the ability to produce welded structures that fully meet the quality requirements specified in the specifications, standards and requirements of legal regulations.
