25 years ago, in 2001, the PROTEA story began in Gdańsk. From a small design office and our first projects, we have come a long way – developing our own production facilities, expanding our product portfolio and taking on increasingly demanding projects for clients around the world.

Important milestones along the way included starting our cooperation with NTD in 2004, delivering our first offshore pedestal crane in 2005, opening our production facility in Ligota Górna in 2008, and further developing our activities in the offshore wind sector. Over the past 25 years, our products, capabilities and the scale of our operations have changed significantly, but one thing has remained the same; the people who make PROTEA what it is today.

That is why our 25th anniversary was, above all, an opportunity to celebrate together. During the anniversary celebration, PROTEA employees and their families came together to celebrate 25 years of the company’s history. It was an evening filled with conversations, memories, fun and plenty of smiles.

There were also some truly special moments. During the celebration, we expressed our appreciation to employees with the longest service, who have been part of PROTEA’s journey for many years and have helped shape the company’s history. It was a chance to recognise their commitment, experience and contribution to building PROTEA.

There were also plenty of activities, games and competitions, but most importantly, there was time to simply be together – away from our daily responsibilities and the projects we work on every day.

PROTEA’s 25th anniversary was not only an opportunity to look back, but above all, to celebrate what we have achieved together.

Thank you to everyone who has been and continues to be part of our story over the past 25 years. Thanks to you, we can celebrate this special milestone today.

25 years behind us. The next chapters of PROTEA’s story are still ahead.
